Enjoy a faster, cashless, and hassle-free toll payment experience with Federal Bank FASTag. FASTag is a reloadable RFID-based tag affixed to the vehicle windshield that enables automatic deduction of toll charges, allowing seamless passage through toll plazas without the need for cash transactions or long queues.

As part of our FASTag Campaign, you can now obtain a Federal Bank FASTag at Zero Cost through the Bank's digital channels – FedMobile, FedNet, Feddy WhatsApp, and the FASTag Customer Portal. The onboarding fee and security deposit have been completely waived, and customers are required to load only ₹500, with the entire amount credited to the FASTag wallet and available for toll payments. Additional wallet loading can be done as per your requirements.

The campaign is applicable for VC4 category vehicles (Car/Jeep/Van) with a permanent vehicle registration number. Following successful verification, the FASTag will be dispatched to your given delivery address, and shipment tracking details will be shared via SMS.

How to Apply for a FASTag?

Through Feddy WhatsApp

1. Through Feddy WhatsApp

  1. Open WhatsApp and send "Hi" to 9633700800.
  2. Select FASTag Services from the menu.
  3. Choose Apply for FASTag.
  4. Enter the required details and complete the application process.

2. Through FedMobile

  1. Open the FedMobile app.
  2. Navigate to Recharge.
  3. Select FASTag.
  4. Proceed with New FASTag Application and complete the required details.

3. Through FASTag Customer Portal

  1. Visit the Federal Bank FASTag Customer Portal.
  2. Register/Login using your mobile number.
  3. Enter customer and vehicle details.
  4. Complete the application and payment process.

4. Through FedNet

  1. Log in to FedNet.
  2. Go to FASTag.
  3. Select Get New FASTag.

How to recharge a FASTag?

How to check FASTag Balance?

  2. Select FASTag.
  3. Choose FASTag Balance.
  4. View the available FASTag wallet balance instantly.

2. Through FedMobile

  1. Open FedMobile.
  2. Navigate to Recharge → FASTag.
  3. View the available wallet balance displayed on the screen.

3. Through FedNet

  1. Log in to FedNet.
  2. Navigate to FASTag.
  3. Select FASTag Details.
  4. The available FASTag wallet balance will be displayed on the screen.

4. Through FASTag Customer Portal

  1. Log in to the FASTag Customer Portal.
  2. Navigate to the dashboard.
  3. View the available FASTag wallet balance displayed against the FASTag account.

5. Through Missed Call Facility

  1. Give a missed call to 9513234422 from your registered mobile number.
  2. You will receive an SMS containing the available FASTag wallet balance.

How to Replace your FASTag?

If your tag is lost or damaged, you can get a replacement tag in your same profile with the available balance. Apply for replacement tag using customer portal  -  https://fastag.federal.bank.in/ (Registered Tags → Replacement Tag)

How to complete KYV of your vehicle

  • Login to FASTag customer portal ( https://fastag.federal.bank.in/  → Registered Tags)
  • Select Update KYV  (Know Your Vehicle) and upload your vehicle front image (with tag affixed and Permanent Vehicle number visible), Vehicle side Image and image of FASTag affixed (with barcode number visible from driver seat).
  • Uploaded images will be verified and approved within 2 working days and the tag will be activated. In case of any urgent activation required, please let us know (through our FASTag support number or Email), we will get it done immediately.
  • Please ensure to upload correct and clear images to get your tag activated. In case of wrong or unclear images, KYV will be rejected, and you can submit the images again.
  • Ensuring Tag status before your travel is necessary for a hassle-free journey. You can check your tag status in our FASTag portal or in FedMobile or in NPCI official website or MyFASTag app powered by IHMCL.

How to Update VRN

If you have purchased your FASTag for your new vehicle, from one of our registered dealers, please update the vehicle number in our FASTag portal ( https://fastag.federal.bank.in/  → Registered Tags  → Update VRN) after you permanently register the vehicle with RTO. VRN needs to be updated within 90 days of tag issuance, failing which tag will have to closed as per guidelines.

 

What should one do when the vehicle is sold?

If your vehicle is sold, please ensure to surrender the FASTag to avoid any further deductions. You can surrender your FASTag using the customer portal https://fastag.federalbank.co.in/ → Registered Tags → Surrender Tag. Bank details of the tag holder should be submitted for the refund of the balance.
