Gosripuram Cochin Tirumala Devaswom Temple is the biggest and most important socio-religious institution of Gowda Saraswat Brahmins of Kerala. Sri Venkateswara, the main presiding deity of the Cochin Thirumala Devaswom temple is known by the popular name Gosripurusha Thirumala Devar. St.Mary's Forane Church, Kuravilangad

The land of Kuravilangad is blessed by the esteemed presence of St. Mary's Forane Church, which was built in 105 A.D(just one hundred years before Constantine declared Christianity as the official religion in the Roman Empire). It is believed, Mother Mary's first appearance in the world, was in Kuravilangad.The statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary kept at the side altar is unique. St.George Forane Church, Aruvithura

St.George's Forane Church, Aruvithura belonging to the Syro-Malabar Rite in the diocese of Palai, is situated on the left bank of the river Meenachil. A beacon of the nineteen century old Christian faith, the church stands on a picture square spot, about 25 miles due east to Kottayam. The ancient name of the place was Irapuzhai or Irapeli. Out of their great veneration and affection towards the saint, the people call him by the popular affectionate term "Valyachan".(Grand Uncle or Grand Papa).
